Another Scheme Launched By PM Modi

One of the new schemes of Modi is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, which is a scheme exclusively designed for farmers. The scheme is an initiative by the Indian government in which all farmers will get a maximum sum of Rs. 6,000 for each year as minimum financial support. This new scheme for farmers was announced during the 2019 Interim Union Budget of India by Piyush Goyal on 1 February 2019.

The Modi new scheme for farmers will cost the government Rs. 75,000 crore per year and it was implemented from December 2019. Under this scheme, each farmer will be paid Rs. 6,000 per year in three installments and the money will be deposited to the bank account of the farmers directly.

The government latest scheme launched by Modi is the employment scheme. The scheme has been specially designed for migrant workers, who are affected by the lockdown due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The Prime Minister launched the migrant worker scheme with an outlay of Rs 50,000 crore. Migrant workers, who reverted to their home states during the coronavirus-provoked lockdown will be greatly benefitted from the scheme. It is expected that the scheme would provide a boost to the improvement of rural areas.
